Bergdorf Goodman Appoints New SVP For Jewelry

Bergdorf Goodman has appointed Elizabeth Hui von der Goltz senior vice president and general merchandise manager, responsible for the jewelry category, as well as fine apparel, designer sportswear, bridal, coats, lingerie, and swimwear. Von der Golt will report to president Joshua Schulman. She joined Bergdorf Goodman in 2000 as a buyer, and most recently served as vice president, divisional merchandise manager for couture and advanced designer collections.   [jckonline.com]... Amazon has a subscription service that makes it easy to keep track of your magazines and when they are due for renewal. They also have great sales throughout the year. I'm not sure how many times they offer $5 subscriptions but that's the best deal we've ever seen! And if you use their service I believe it will let you extend your subscriptions with the sale prices. Regardless, you should catch up on all the magazines you should be getting for $5 a year! Pantone Says We’re in a Monaco Blue Mood for Spring 2013

  As Spring 2013 Fashion Week begins the Pantone Color Institute, the color authority, has announced the top colors of Spring. And we're going to be feeling the blues... Monaco Blue and Dusk Blue to be exact. Both are subdued shades of blue which are "practical purchases for any wardrobe ... that can be easily blended into consumer's existing wardrobe," said Leatrice Eisman, Pantone's Executive Director in today's WWD. The next two most popular colors -- according to how many designers have used these shades in their Spring collections -- are also somewhat dusky greens that are jewel tones of Emerald and Greyed Jade.
